Welcome to the Australasian Student Veterinary Public Health Network. This is a place where you can have your say, find links to important public health sites, get ideas for furthering your public health experience and network with people across our region. The main aim is to encourage students to explore the world of veterinary public health from the start of their veterinary degree. We hope to inspire the establishment of several local university student groups throughout the region. If you want to set up a student veterinary public health group at your university, let us know so we can feature you on this site and share ideas for activities, speakers and training opportunities. Each month we will feature a veterinary professional working in the varied field of veterinary public health. Whether you’re interested in general biosecurity, zoonotic disease, food safety and security, community development, or the emerging field of ‘One Medicine’, this site endeavours to have something for you. We are a work in progress. Please feel free to offer suggestions for the site – such as links and journals to advertise, and people to profile. Also images - if you have some public health related photos or pictures to share, we would love to hear from you. We welcome all input!
